A man from Honiton has been convicted of terrorism offences following a trial at Winchester Crown Court.
Tobias Gleed, of Streamers Meadows, was found guilty 24th February on eight charges, including four counts of possession of a document or record for terrorist purposes and four counts of dissemination of a terrorist publication.
The offences took place between 2022 and 2023. After hearing the evidence, the jury deliberated briefly before returning a unanimous verdict of guilty on all charges.
The trial was overseen by His Honour Judge Christopher Parker KC. The prosecution was led by barrister Lyndon Harris, while Andrew Morris, assisted by junior counsel Soraya Bauwens, represented the defence.
Gleed is due to be sentenced on 17th April, 2025.
