Hitler's brain to be dissected at Axminster Guildhall
Report by Duncan Williams for Pulman's Weekly News
What made Adolf Hitler tick? That’s the question being explored at a thought-provoking event at Axminster Guildhall later this year.
Former Scotland Yard Detective Chief Inspector and criminal psychologist Steve Gaskin will present Inside the Mind of Adolf Hitler, an interactive session that delves into the psyche of one of history’s most infamous figures.
Far from a standard history lecture, the evening will take audiences on a forensic journey into Hitler’s character. It will explore how he saw himself, how his closest associates viewed him, and how the German public perceived him during his rise to power.
The event will also examine Hitler’s psychological profile, with discussion around psychopathy, narcissism and possible psychosis.
Organisers say it will be “a rare chance to step back in time and understand the mindset of a man whose decisions altered the course of history”.
The talk takes place on Thursday 6th November, with doors opening at 6.30pm and the event starting at 7.00pm, at Axminster Guildhall, 5 West Street, Axminster, EX13 5NX.
