It was a night to remember for Dan Tavender as Honiton Town FC celebrated their annual presentation evening, with the popular player picking up two of the club’s top accolades.
Tavender was voted Players’ Player of the Year and also took home the Supporters’ Player of the Year award, highlighting his standout season and the respect he’s earned both on the pitch and in the stands.
Held alongside Budleigh Salterton FC’s own awards event, the evening recognised the dedication, skill, and spirit of players, staff, and volunteers who have supported both local football clubs throughout the season.
Honiton Town FC Award Winners:
Manager’s Player of the Year: Scott Wells-Burr
Young Player of the Year: Ben Turner
Top Goal-scorer: Jordan Harris
Goal of the Season: Tom Perryman
Hippo of the Year (for outstanding service to the club): Ben Ede
Chairman’s Award: Ben Ede and Aaron Doble
Crock of the Year (for worst injury luck): Dan Savage
The club’s presentation evening served not just as a celebration of individual excellence but also as a reflection of Honiton’s strong community ethos and camaraderie.
